Whistleblower scheme

We have established a whistleblower scheme, which you can read more about on this page. We encourage you to read this before reporting your suspicion or concern.

Who can use the whistleblower scheme?

Only employees and board members of InstallerGroup and others, who are affiliated with InstallerGroup, can make a report to the whistleblower scheme (“whistleblowers”).

What can you report?

You can use our whistleblower scheme if you have knowledge or reasonable suspicion of serious violations of the law and other serious matters, as well as violations of EU law as defined in the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of persons reporting breaches of Union law. This may include the following:

  • Criminal offenses, such as fraud, embezzlement, misuses of assets, forgery of documents, accounting manipulation, bribery, corruption, money laundering, and terrorist financing.
  • Violations of competition and procurement rules.
  • Risk to individual health and safety, including serious og repeated breaches of occupational safety.
  • Significant breaches of environmental regulations and pollution of the environment.
  • Breach of confidentiality.
  • Violations of privacy and personal data protection.
  • Serious breaches of internal guidelines and rules of InstallerGroup (e.g., the individual company personnel handbooks and guidelines).
  • Discrimination, severe bullying, severe harassment, physical violence, threats, and sexual harassment.

These are just examples. If you are unsure whether your report falls within the scope of the whistleblower scheme, we encourage you to use our whistleblower scheme. The report will then be assessed, and you will receive feedback on whether your report is covered by the whistleblower scheme.

Issues such as cooperation difficulties, dissatisfaction with salary conditions, minor breaches of internal guidelines regarding sick leave, smoking, alcohol, use of office supplies, etc., should not be reported through the whistleblower scheme but should be reported through your immediate supervisor.

Do not use the whistleblower scheme to report concerns about an immediate threat to life or property. If you need emergency assistance, please contact the public emergency services.

We encourage you to use our whistleblower scheme if you have concern or suspicion about serious matters. However, you can also choose to report your suspicion or concern to the external whistleblower schemes established by the authorities.

PwC

When using our whistleblower scheme, your report goes directly to an external third party (PwC). PwC is an independent auditing, tax, and advisory firm, which, on behalf of InstallerGroup, receives reports to ensure an independent channel for you as the reporter. Subsequently, your report is forwarded for processing at InstallerGroup.

PwC conducts an initial assessment to determine whether the report falls within the whistleblower scheme, and they will initiate a dialogue with the whistleblower if further information is needed or if the report raises follow-up questions.

PwC will then conduct an impartiality assessment to determine who within InstallerGroup that can handle the report, ensuring that the report is processed by an impartial and competent individual within InstallerGroup and is not forwarded to a person directly or indirectly related to the report, or where there may be a risk of conflict of interest.

The ESG Officer in InstallerGroup

The ESG Officer at InstallerGroup is responsible for the whistleblower scheme in the whole organization. The ESG Officer is a competent and independent person who has the responsibility of ensuring thorough follow-ups on reports. Additionally, the ESG Officer is responsible for assessing the necessary actions to be taken based on the report.

Confidentiality, objectivity, and anonymity

Everyone who receives and do follow-ups on reports are subject to confidentiality requirements. Investigations of reports are conducted with due regard for independence, confidentiality, data protection, and security.

InstallerGroup and PwC fully treat all information about the identities of the whistleblower and the affected individuals with the utmost confidentiality possible. Whistleblowers have the right to remain anonymous.

Protection of the whistleblowers

InstallerGroup does not tolerate any form of retaliation or harassment against whistleblowers.

A whistleblower who, in good faith, reports a reasonable suspicion or concern through the whistleblower scheme will not face retaliation or negative consequences, including employment-related consequences, even if the report later proves to be unfounded.
